meet the team
Our team at Rallytime is made up of knowledgeable and passionate timekeepers who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
We are committed to ensuring that event organisers have the best timing solution for their event.
Vaughan Allcock
Founder
Vaughan acquired Rallytime in 1981 and the clocks that were used at that time were Wharton digital clocks. These are still in use today for road rallies and other events.
In 1998, Omega Timing asked Vaughan to contribute to the development of their “Powertime” timer.
In 1999 Vaughan was introduced to a new type of clock. This was the ECM Rally Timer. Rallytime was instrumental in placing a substantial order for the first production run. These clocks have been the most common for timing on rallies to the present day.
Vaughan’s experience over the last 44 years include supplying timing services to:
- Castrol Autosport National Championship (1980’s)
- Shell Oils National Championship (1990’s)
- Scottish International Rally (1990’s)
- Pirelli International Rally
- Classic Car Events
- Numerous Motorsport events (Non rally)
- National Sprint events (2017 – present)
